Quality as a Strategy For Success in Business and Education
In conjunction with Iowa State University, The W. Edwards Deming Institute® Conference will explore education and business through the lens of quality and continuous improvement – parts of the proven critical thinking and practices developed by W. Edwards Deming in his remarkable System of Profound Knowledge. Dr. Deming is credited with the Japanese economic miracle after WWII, and his influence is still seen today in world-class organizations ranging from Toyota to Patagonia and Coca Cola bottling to Louisville Slugger, along with many others.
This inspiring and illuminating conference will feature top business leaders and educators covering important and controversial topics, such as why individual bonuses are destructive to team output, why the grading system is holding back education, and why “best efforts and hard work” are not enough to ensure success in business today and tomorrow.
Photographs and/or video may be taken during the course of The W. Edwards Deming Institute® Fall Conference. By completing the registration, I hereby give permission and consent, to The W. Edward Deming Institute® to display and disseminate by means of various media my likeness for the purpose of informing the public of my participation in and attendance at the event.
