The New Economics Study Sessions – January 2017
About the study sessions
Wednesdays & Mondays, 3-5pm Pacific Time, from January 30 through February 22 participants will discuss Dr. W. Edwards Deming’s last book, The New Economics. The course is open to all – repeat participants and first timers are equally welcome.
About the series
We will read two chapters (or so) before each of six sessions then connect to share ideas about what we have read. In the seventh session we will relate what we have learned to current events at work, at home, or in the news.
Not all participants are able to join all seven sessions. Participating more is better, but you are welcome to attend as your schedule allows.
At each session of the series, we will have supplemental information aimed at provoking additional thought.
How to participate
The W. Edwards Deming Institute® has arranged a conference line for the series. You will be able to connect using your smart phone, computer or similar device using VOI protocol for free. The phone access number and passcode will be provided to you upon registering.
