Andrew Stotz, CFA, is a former president of the CFA Society Thailand and the founder and CEO of A. Stotz Investment Research (ASIR), a financial services company based in Bangkok, Thailand. Prior to launching ASIR, Andrew spent 20 years working in global investment banks in Asia. He has also been a university lecturer in finance for more than three decades and is a co-founder of CoffeeWORKS Co. Ltd., Thailand’s specialty coffee roaster.

In 1990 Andrew attended Dr. Deming’s course, Instituting Dr. Deming’s Methods for Management of Productivity and Quality, and in 1992 attended Quality, Productivity and Competitive Position. This ignited the passion for Dr. Deming’s teaching, which led to his publishing Transform Your Business with Dr. Deming’s 14 Points in 2015. In 2022, Andrew began hosting The Deming Institute podcast In Their Own Words.

Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and an MBA from California State University. He earned his Ph.D. in finance at the University of Science and Technology of China. He is a recognized public speaker and commentator on matters of investing.
