Jake Rodgers

Jake Rodgers is an experienced educator, leader, and consultant with a strong focus on continual improvement. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has served as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and leadership coach, bringing a systems-thinking approach to leadership and organizational development. His work has been grounded in the philosophy of W. Edwards Deming for nearly his entire career, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

As a superintendent, Jake worked alongside stakeholders at all levels to develop and implement strategic plans, align governance with operational priorities, and create conditions for sustainable improvement. He has provided executive coaching to school and business leaders, helping them strengthen leadership capacity, refine decision-making processes, and foster cultures of trust and innovation.

Jake has been a speaker at multiple Deming Institute conferences, sharing insights on the application of continual improvement in education. His work has contributed to gains in student achievement and system-wide organizational growth. Prior to entering education, he built a foundation in leadership and operations through his experience in the service industry, where he developed essential skills in relationship-building, operational efficiency, and customer-focused service—principles that continue to inform his approach to education and leadership.

Jake now resides in Spokane, WA with his wife and two daughters.
