The aim of the W. Edwards Deming Institute Scholarship Program is to promote greater access for individuals, students, non-profit, and business professionals to the teachings of Dr. Deming. Through the Scholarship Program, the Deming Institute strives to advance the organization’s aim of enriching society through the Deming Philosophy.
Scholarships are awarded to provide opportunities to attend Deming Institute conferences, workshops, and seminars as well as subscriptions to DemingNEXT, to those who are interested in a greater knowledge of the philosophies of Dr. Deming and how to apply them in their professional and personal lives.

Scholarship Terms and Conditions
By submitting this application, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of receiving a scholarship from The W. Edwards Deming Institute®:
- Scholarship Details:
- a. Scholarships are not monetary awards; recipients will receive a code or link to register for an event at no charge or a discounted fee.
- b. Learning Event Registration Scholarships cover all or a portion of the registration fee for one Deming Institute conference, workshop, or seminar.
- c. Learning Event Travel Scholarships cover travel expenses (travel, lodging, meals) to attend in-person events. Travel expenses will be reimbursed after an expense form and receipts are submitted to The Deming Institute following the event. No expenses will be reimbursed without receipts.
- Scholarships will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate an interest in the teachings of Dr. W. Edwards Deming.
- Applicants must have a background suitable to the event or activity for which the application for scholarship is applied.
- Scholarship recipients must attend the maximum sessions possible at the event for which the scholarship is awarded.
- Scholarship recipients give their approval for The W. Edwards Deming Institute® to use their name, comments, photo or video image to promote and generate awareness for The W. Edwards Deming Institute® and its programs, services and events.
- Scholarship recipients must be willing to share the ways in which you applied what you learned at the event.
